The Architect
LIGHTWAVE ARCHITECTURE
Lightwave is a medium sized architectural practice with offices in Brisbane and Kingscliff. While being located in separate physical locations, the communication technologies available allow the practice to operate as a single office. Lightwave was established six years ago and quickly grew into a 12 person office.
We assume that innovative design solutions are a given and we have a substantial focus on how our services are structured and delivered. Our key positioning statement is Listen Understand Create. To us, these three considerations provide all our team members with a framework to approach design and problem solving tasks. The importance of stepping back and understanding the true context from a client, investor and the users point of view allows design solutions to get to the core of the issue: the identification and resolution of the project program.
Lightwave has particular experience in Master Planning, Supported Living, Education, Multi Residential Housing and Resorts and Factory Built Housing. Lightwave has many recogonised awards including the recent commendation for AIA 2010 Regional Architecure Awards for the Robina Community Performing Arts Complex.

The Developer
MIDDLEMOUNT MILIEU MANAGEMENT PTY LTD
The estate was originally designed to be small duplex style homes, however the site was sold 18 months ago and purchased by developers Neale Kaalund, Brenton Whitbread and Adrian Todd. After discussions with the local council, consultation from the local community, the new owners decided that the Milieu at Middlemount site should be changed to allow for to free standing homes. In February 2010 the estate gained approval from Isaac Regional Council to allow free standing homes and the first of the homes completed in May 2010.
Previous Projects that the Developers have been involved include, Beach Milieu Bargara, Riva Apartments Maroochydore River, Hope Island, 1770 housing estate.
The Builder

Image Designer Homes was origionally started by two Local Murwillumbah Builders in 2002, Mark and Dave Penman, and has a repulation in the building Industry for Excellent Quality Manufactured Homes. In early 2010, the Company was purchased by a group of experienced partners, with building, accounting, design and management experience. The company has previously been involved in providing accommodation in NT, QLD and NSW, with many large projects including Shady Glen Tourist Park, Award winning designs at Brisbane Holiday Village, and many customised homes throughtout regional and rural QLD and NSW. The builders have a focus on customer service, quality and a can do attitude. They have worked with the Developers of the Milieu Project to offer a home suitable to family, workers or investors.
